KNOW THE PHOTOGRAPHER
I have been creating images of our Land's Beauty and its creatures for over 25 years. Most of my work is in color, although I like shooting black and white when the mood prevails. I marvel at the beauties of nature, its living things; and create images where others may look but do not see. I share these images on my site to display the beauty around us. My work has appeared in various publications, including Vermont Life Magazine, Country Inns, Discover, books and newspapers, and I sell my images through Chaffee Art Center, Rutland VT, Southern VT. Art Center Manchester, VT, this site and at my Studio in East Dorset, VT.
I am a Romantic.
I love to photograph wildlife, especially Common Loons and Humming Birds, the landscape's tranquility, symmetry, reflections and nature's realism.

"Photography Is Light...and Light is evolution" - Brent McCullough; we were having breakfast in a Maine diner during a photo workshop in Acadia National Park when Brent, the workshop leader, made that observation over eggs and bacon. It just came out, but it hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt thunder in my heart.
"Art is nature seen through the medium of a personality" - Somerset Maugham; I read this in a book. It made me realize that whether youre an Artist or a Photographer, each of our styles is different, like fingerprints. Our creative talents and their output are unique!
